ICOinspect Metarating Description

ICOinspect Metarating is calculated based on the published ratings and opinions from various sources. We carefully examine available ICO data and evaluate information from public sources in order to present most accurate and up to date estimate of how attractive a specific ICO is. 
 
Metarating is not a one-time evaluation but a constantly evolving metric. Metarating is regularly updated as more data on specific ICO is available.
 
We do not disclose detailed rating calculation algorithm so that it cannot be distorted or manipulated in any way by any third party. In general our approach is that we analyze various online resources including but not limited to ICO official websites, Bitcointalk.org, ICOBench.com, ICORating.com, Reddit and others. Every available review and rating is then brought to common scale in order to calculate ICOInspect Metarating.
 
ICOinspect Metarating has 7 grades from “A1” to “D” which resemble classic financial rating scale for easier recognition:

A1” rating denotes the lowest expectation of investment risk. “A1” is assigned in cases of exceptionally strong capacity for ICO and project success. This capacity is highly unlikely to be adversely affected by foreseeable events.
A2” rating denotes expectations of very low investment risk. “A2” indicates very strong capacity for ICO and project success. This capacity is not significantly
vulnerable to foreseeable events.
A3” rating denotes expectations of low investment risk. The project capacity is considered strong. This capacity may, nevertheless, be more vulnerable
to adverse business or economic conditions than is the case for higher ratings.
B1” rating indicates that expectations of investment risk are currently low. This capacity may, nevertheless, be more vulnerable to adverse business or economic conditions than is the case for higher ratings.
B2” rating indicates that expectations of investment risk are currently low. The project capacity is considered adequate, but adverse business or economic conditions are more likely to impair this capacity.
C” rating indicates that material default risk is present, but a margin of safety remains. 
D” rating indicates lowest public scores and ratings. Generally highest risks. Such ICOs should be very thoroughly investigated before taking any investment decision.
